PSD Training Group- Fully Residential Close Protection Officer/Bodyguard Course - 4 weeks

The aim of this intensive 4 week course is to provide an informative, no nonsense, hands-on course for serious participants in the close protection industry. The training modules have been compiled from field experience and are designed to qualify students to work either solo or as a member on a close protection team. Post 9-11 has seen a dramatic upsurge in interest by Governments, Corporations and individuals alike, regarding close protection services. An increasingly violent world has resulted in a strong demand for professionally trained individuals with close protection skills.

PSD Training have offered our close protection training program to governments, corporations and individuals from around the globe.

The training modules have been compiled from field experience and are designed to qualify the student in solo and small team bodyguard operations.

Training is facilitated using an outcomes based approach, comprising knowledge and practical components. Assessments will be implemented at various stages during the course.

Certification, this course, if passed, gains the student the following certification;

• Health & Safety Executive, First Aid at Work Certificate
• City & Guilds, Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection
• National Security College Certificate in High Risk (PSD) Close Protection
• Annual Personal Weapons Test Certificate for;
  • AK 74 (5.56mm)
  • M4 (5.56mm)
  • Pistol (9mm)

Our full time, 4 week course includes:

• First Aid at Work course. 4 days
• City & Guilds Level 3 certificate in Close Protection. 14 days
• PSD Operator Module for high risk environments. 7 days
• CP Live Fire Module. 5 days
