PSD Training Group - PSD Operator/Close Protection Officer Firearms Course

PSD Training understands  that  "live fire" weapons courses can make all the difference for employment in the High Risk world of Level 5 (PSD) Close Protection, in areas such as Iraq or Afghanistan.

We offer a realistic, affordable solution for military, law enforcement and security people to gain highly recognised skills with modern day firearms.

The PSD Operator "Live Fire" course is a five day fully residential course using a variety of modern semi-automatic weapons including Sig P226, HK USP Pistols, AR15 M4 & HK G3 assault rifles. You will be taught everything we know, including marksmanship principles, Normal Safety Precautions (NSP's), weapon care and maintenance, drawing techniques, firing stances combat shooting techniques, positioning of equipment, attacks on principals, tail gunner drills, vehicle drills and under fire tactical movement.

We will refresh and retest all of the drills taught to you on your PSD Operator course, if you are booking the operator course. The course is aimed at anyone who wishes to gain a recognised qualification for firearms, such as PSD Operators, Close Protection officers, Bodyguards, all those that require or wish to secure employment where firearms are part of the qualifications required.

3 sec magazine changes (all weapons), stoppages, pressure reloads, hostile environment weapon carriage, open and closed carriage, everything a professional operator needs to refresh and retrain frequently.

This course starts in Southern England, United Kingdom, with a short intro and pre-range weapons safety lesson/test. We then move to our Firearms Training Centre (FTC) followed by 5 days of training, again, as per all our courses, all costs including food, accommodation and travelling is FREE!

Another course I did  and it got me the job I'm doing now PSD Iraq..... And have been doing for over 2 years now... Cheers AB.
