PSD Training, an established training provider within The National Security College, is an internationally recognised SME (Subject Matter Expert), close protection and high risk security training company. PSD Training delivers City & Guilds accredited close protection training courses for High Risk PSD operators and Close Protection Officers working on Close Protection & High Risk PSD contracts since 2004.

Instructors & Venue
World class, City & Guilds & SIA licensed certified instructors, with impeccable and experienced military/police & civilian close protection backgrounds,  a dedicated European City & Guilds accredited training venue, the National Security College and Firearms Training Centre, together with a Tactical Simulation Firearms Range and Live Firearms Training Centre.

Deployment and Employment
PSD Training graduates, from both the PSD Operator & Close Protection courses, have deployed on contracts in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kosovo, Palestine, Israel, Africa, Indonesia with companies such as; Aegis (Iraq), Blackwater (Iraq),  , Hart (Iraq & Afghanistan) , Erinys, USC, Squadron International (Afghanistan), Control Risks Group (UKFCO & Iraq), Armour Group (Iraq), Securiforce (Iraq), the United Nations (Africa), Wolf Pack (Iraq), Embassies and more... 30 Day Fully Residential Training Course
Our ultimate package, a full 4 weeks of training, in modular form, so it is possible to complete the full course over different months, the 30 day package will provide the skills, experience and training to lead into any type of Close Protection contract. The 30 day package includes, the First Aid at Work module, the SIA Close Protection module, the PSD Operator module and the CP Live Fire module . Once you are booked and attend the course, all transportation, food, accommodation is included. We do not pay for your journey to the course, but once here all other costs are covered by us (Flights to Live Fire etc.)

Modular: High Risk PSD Operator Course
Our market leading High Risk PSD Operator course, teaches and tests the latest PSD/SET Team drills, weapons, techniques and situational awareness on our PSD Operator course, which ensures PSD Training graduates continue to be highly skilled, valued members of their teams, sought after by our strategic connections and highly employable. You will be able to apply for your UK SIA Close Protection license if you choose this course*.

Modular: SIA Licensed Close Protection Officer/Bodyguard Training Course (Accredited by City & Guilds)
With many years of operational experience, our instructors pass on the skills that work, in Low and Medium environments, together with the latest SIA requirements, you can be assured, your learning experience will be second - to - none.

Modular: First Aid & Medical Training
With Health & Safety Executive recognised First Aid courses and City & Guilds instructors, students can be assured of receiving the best First Aid training possible. Courses include First Aid at Work  which is recognised by the SIA (Security Industry Authority) and Emergency First Aid.

Modular: PSD/CP Live Firearms & Weapons Training
Together with strategic partners, PSD Training delivers live fire weapons courses for military, law enforcement and security personnel, to prove and improve their skill set, leading to better understanding and expertise on modern day weapon systems.
