PSD High Risk Operator "Live Fire" Weapons Course="courses/psd-training-live-fire-weapons-course-uk.htm" class="style40"> The PSD Operator "Live Fire" course is a five day fully residential course using a variety of modern semi-automatic weapons including Sig P226, HK USP Pistols, AR15 M4 & HK G3 assault rifles. You will be taught everything we know, including the principles of marksmanship, Normal Safety Precautions (N.S.P's), weapon care and maintenance, weapon drawing techniques, firing stances, combat shooting techniques, positioning of equipment, attacks on principals, tail gunner dills, vehicle drills and under fire tactical movement.

PSD High Risk Operator + SIA CP License Combination Course
A 14 day, 160 hour full time course to prepare you for deployment as a PSD Operator to hostile environments in a High Risk Close Protection (PSD) role. This course is recognised by many operational companies with roles available in places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Asia, South America, it is also for those wanting a recognised 1903 City & Guilds qualification for Security Industry Authority licensing.

SIA Licensed Close Protection Operator Course
A 4 week, full time course to license you for Close Protection duties in the UK. this course will be available from January 2007, based at our training facility in the UK, an intensive 4 weeks of practical exercises, backed up by theory and classroom work to prepare you for the Security Industry Authority (SIA) CP Exam. (Potential students may not require the full 4 weeks but will depend on their own individual skills and experience).


Close Protection Officer/Bodyguard Course
A 4 week intensive full time course, aimed at anyone who is wishing to work in the Close Protection industry. The aim of this intensive ASLET Approved and SIA compliant Close Protection Course is to provide an informative, no nonsense, hands-on course for serious participants moving into the close protection industry. Training includes live medical, with Johannesburg Paramedics working alongside them on operational duties and live firearms training. Flights, from London, all meals and accommodation included.

UK MOD Resettlement Course
We offer our courses to retiring British service personnel, our resettlement courses are fully residential. The PSD Training UK MOD Modular Resettlement Course is currently £4000 - the course includes SIA Close Protection License compliant phase, Live Fire Weapons training, Live Medical/Trauma phases, in total 4 weeks training, in South Africa, with all flights, accommodation and meals included.

Weapons Training Course
This 5 day course offers an extended and more exclusive opportunity than the basic Weapons Awareness Course, giving members of the police and Private Security Companies access to the latest information and intelligence on firearms and edged weapons (including) those adapted and concealed) within unique facilities at our European Firearms Training Centre.

VIP Driving/Advanced Defensive Driving Course
Drivers are trained in the swift recognition and response to changes in the security situation. Training covers the full range of road and traffic conditions. The focus is always on prevention: defensive driving techniques, awareness, threat recognition and quick response all enable the drivers to keep their principle safe. The training course leads to awards of a recognized certificate. Cost effective with full support, inclusive of food and accommodation.
