I would rate the overall three weeks a nine out of ten. I would suggest it to anyone looking to learn about or get employed into PSD work in a high risk setting. Some people have gotten so much out of it and enjoyed it so much, they've come back and done it again. There are 3-4 of us that are considering taking their CP course and SIA Certification. Overall it was very good value for moneyMichael K Former US Ranger + SOCNET , September 07 Operator course, interviewed and deployed with Aegis to Iraq

AB, please pass on to A** and K*** that I truly appreciate the dedication and professionalism of your training methods in getting me prepared for this contract.Mike J, interviewed and deployed, Aegis, Iraq (Sept 07 PSD Operator + Live Firearms Course)

I've thoroughly enjoyed myself and I now have a firm foundation on which to continue building my knowledge base.  I believe that I’m better prepared and confident that I have the necessary skills to make the transition from my current contract, and pursue a career in the Close protection/PSD community.  Thank you AB, K***, A*** and J****. Semper Fi, Chris M, currently, Dyncorp, Afghanistan (Sept 07 PSD Operator + Live Firearms Course)

This course was fast paced and kept you "entertained" till the end, even lost one belt size. I made a lot of friends who still keep in contact. F***ing "A" Tex (Former US Navy/Iraq Civilian Contractor (Sept 07 PSD Operator + Live Firearms Course)

Another course I did  and it got me the job I'm doing now PSD Iraq..... And have been doing for over 2 years now... Cheers AB. This is a course that will show you what to expect in the box, AB knows what he's on about and so do his staff.. If you're thinking about doing one of his courses, do it!!! I never looked back.. Cheers mate, my bike is paid for CASH, hahaha. Griff Former HM Forces interviewed & deployed IRAQ.  (PSD Operator Course)

It was a great overall course and I suggest anyone to attend.Dusty R - currently DynCorp, Iraq. (June 07 PSD Operator + Live Firearms Course)

Believe in the 2 weeks I learnt and progressed a great deal and owe this to the excellent instruction and speed which I felt was just right. Best course I have ever been on and the most enjoyableMike S - former UK Police Firearms Officer, interview, deployed, Aegis Iraq. (June 07 PSD Operator + Live Firearms Course)

Many thanks again for one of the most intense, gruelling, challenging courses I have attended. Not only have you taught valuable job skills, you have changed my whole way of thinking!! In 2 weeks, I don't think the team have experienced so many highs and lows, mentally and physically. Doesn't matter what anyone's background, it is truly THE course to attend.Steve - former British Army, SIA CPO Licensed (Sept 06 PSD Operator Course)

The course itself was tough but worth the money.  At first, I didn’t like it, felt like I should know all of these things already, from being in Iraq and Afghanistan prior to going.  It opened my eyes to a lot of things and different scenarios that I hadn’t thought about or seen yet.  I learned different techniques in driving, walking drills, and even searching that I can use. I value the one-on-one mid-course evaluation conference with the instructors.  The course ramped up big-time after the first week making you dig deep and pull your weight. By the second week, you should be clicking pretty good as a team and nothing’s worse than letting down your team.  The action (training) never stopped until a few hours before graduation. I’m happy with my purchase.  I researched this company long before I sent them any money.  I first heard about them in a PSD chat room when I was shopping companies for training.  Their website, responses to my emails, and all around helping attitude led me to choose them above: Blackwater, Phoenix, ESTS, and a few others. I’ve recommended this training to friends of mine. Scott - former US Army, US Marine Corps (June 06 PSD Operator Course)

As an experienced Infantry Soldier (Pte - WO2) I was delighted to find a training provider that identified & improved my "transferable" skills! Every module had sound theory teaching, backed up by practice & testing to a standard unique to the venue! Where else could you administer emergency first aid to gunshot & Machete victims whilst on a training course? The final exercise was physically & mentally challenging with a finale that was unexpected by everyone>> Including the exercise director..... Great course, great firm! If you're considering CPO/PSD work, consider this course! (Oh & did I mention that, as it was my resettlement course, it didn't cost me a penny?)Alan - Warrant Officer British Army (Close Protection Officer/Bodyguard Course)

A very hard course, both mentally and physically, the skills and techniques shown were excellent and to apply these to their full use took a lot of practise. Although a very tough course it is also a very enjoyable one. The instructors keep you on your toes and alert at all times Geordie - Former British Army and Force Protection at Baghdad International Airport (PSD Operator Course) Deployed to foreign embassy, Baghdad.

Even returning after 6 months to re-do this course, it all seems different - excellent! Mario - Former Foreign Legion (PSD Operator Course)

I attended the March 2006 PSD Operator course with AB and SF as our main instructors and right from the start these two gents displayed professionalism. I found the course challenging but most importantly very educational, Things that I learnt from the course included PSD walking/driving drills, roles of the RST and CAT teams and even weapon drills (AK, Pistol especially) to name a few. At the end of the course I left with confidence that I could be an effective PSD team member in a level 5 area of operations. Overall the course was more than worth it to me, so much so that I am thinking about doing the Close Protection Course in South Africa to build up my skill level. Overall, the course is the best spent money that I have ever invested, the instructors displayed a great understanding of the subjects, which in turn gives me confidence that I will be able to become an effective PSD Operator AJ - Former 22 Special Air Service (Regiment). (PSD Operator Course)

The skills and training techniques used by both AB and SW were excellent, easily understood and kept interesting. Always ready to help if part was not understood properly even after the days training was over - excellent organisation of course"Steve - Former Royal Engineers, British Army (PSD Operator Course)

now have time to comment on the Level V PSD Operator Close Protection Course run by PSD Training in the UK. There was no way I had time to put in a post while on the course. I was too busy working, studying, sleeping or shi..ing. I have only ever done a couple of courses that were more intense and they were military with a high drop out rate and I never paid for the privilege then. Yes it may seem expensive for a 14 day course but when I gave it a serious comparison with others there is no doubt you get value for money. Just be prepared to work extremely hard and still not pass/get some spectacular mark. They set high standards and I was caught out. They don't have any compunction about telling you that you are a tosser or worse. Value for money, the course, with it's Iraq specific focus is top quality. Spider D - Former 22 Special Air Service (Regiment). Deployed Afghanistan (PSD Operator Course)

After a life's work in the Police/security field & a 9 month stint in Iraq. I have learned more about surviving in a Level 5 environment on this course, than in my prior 30 years of experience. I have attended too many courses to list, State, Local and Federal (USA), and have the creds to back up this comment... The training being currently conducted by PSD-Training is far and away, the best, real-deal, get you ready for work, hands on type training that is available to most people and it will prepare them for what lies ahead.Paul H - Former Operational Director, FBI & DEA trained US Chief of Police Officer.  interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

It was money well spent, I definitely recommend this course, especially after listening to others commenting on other courses. The comment "It was really worth it" sums it up especially after my first hand experience of working in Iraq. It was DEFINITELY WORTH IT. It was challenging, shall we say! There was a lot to learn, absorb and practise. The mental pressure stayed on until AFTER the final exam. That made passing the course feel so awesome!. Thanks to AB and CB for a great learning experience! Jay W - Serving British Army NCO. (PSD Operator Course)

I keep thinking about these two weeks of pure professionalism from our instructors and hard work on our side. I've trained in America, in Israel, and I've never seen a course that gives you so much about the state of mind, the mentality, the tactics you will need in the Danger Zone.************* don't worry, learning to shoot live can be done almost everywhere, but getting the details and the mistakes to avoid and the opportunity to learn from your mistakes is, AFAIK, only possible with PSD training. I have no arrangement with them to say this, it's just the truth. Arnaud - Former Swiss Army Lt. (PSD Operator Course)

When I think to describe the course only one word pops up...excellent. For those who are thinking about it to take a course, this the one in my eye's. It's a straight forward, heads up course, no bulsh*tting around.
It's hard working but you will learn A LOT. Halfway they will let you know where you need to improve yourself, so you have the time to correct your things. On this course your money is very well spend. A very big thumbs up for the instructors, and keep up the good work lads. For those who want to take the course: keep an eye open for Harry, you go love him ;-) And treat Clarke's tower with respect. For those who finished with me: again, grats lads. Good job. -Jester - Former Dutch Airmobile. (PSD Operator Course)

Just a note to anyone thinking of taking the PSD Training Operator course. I have been on a few courses in my past military life and i thought it was conducted with complete professionalism. Taught by instructors intent on passing on their vast knowledge and experience as team leaders working in level 5 conditions, apart from the course the training area and facility's was on the ball, not to mention the food (salads for me chef). all in all i recommend it to anybody thinking of taking a course its a good 1 to have under your belt. money well spent. NO BULL SxxT ps, keep your eye out 4 Harry- what a character, he gets everywhere.Daisy - Former British Army. deployed to Iraq (PSD Operator Course)

I have attended many training courses before, both in my 12 years military service and in the civilian sector. However, this was without doubt the most professional, relevant and in-depth course I have ever undertaken. As you know, I had already secured PSD contracts prior to attending the course, but felt that I lacked the necessary skills and training specific to PSD work. Having now completed the 160 hours PSD training, I feel confident that I will not only be able to perform well and honour my contract, but also  that I will be a valued asset to any operational PSD team. In hindsight, I can not believe I was foolish enough to consider deployment without having completed this training. Anyone contemplating going to work in a level 5 environment, should seriously consider attending PSD training prior to deployment. Jon G - Former Royal Military Police Officer, interviewed by 3 operational companies, deployed Iraq. (PSD Operator Course)

I enjoyed the PSD Training course very much.  Having attended the school and putting those things learned into practice on the ground were very beneficial.  PSD-Training gave me a very solid base to build upon.E.T. Former USMC Major - interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

I have attended many bodyguard courses in my life, Government and commercial. I did attend another High Risk Bodyguard course prior to this course and the comparison is night and day. This course is 10 times better than any other if not more. It's a no B/S course. What is on the site, is exactly what this course teaches, even the Government courses that I've taken in the past miss some of what is covered on this course. The course was great and I look forward to working with the instructors in the future.Chris W - Former US AF Military Police - interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

The course was very informative and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I feel that when I arrive in the "sandbox" I will be infinitely more competent as a PSD than when I arrived here.Rob C - Former US Army Ranger - interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

Having worked in a Level 5 environment and instructed on CP/PSD courses I can honestly state that this is one of the best courses in close protection/PSD. The fact that the instructors are experienced operators and put into the course their personal experience from the job makes this course so much more "real". All the information given to us/me about the current situation in Iraq is probably one of the most vital things for operators going in. The location and training facilities are outstanding. The "training team" gives every student their time when needed and critical drills whether good/bad in a nice, respectful manner. The course is a no B/S course and a must for operators going into a Level 5 environment.Chip - Police Officer/ former United Nations Close Protection Team - interviewed & deployed, now promoted to Team Leader, IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

Just a quick one to say I deploy on Wed 12th (January 2005)with AEGIS, So thanks for all your help. I will keep in touch. Thanks againScott - Former British Army - interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

Wolf-pack, called me few days ago and want me to be in Kuwait asap, I'm going on the 1st of Dec. Thanks for everythingMadhi - Iraqi/American Civilian - interviewed & deployed IRAQ (PSD Operator Course)

Having been a Depot Instructor the method of teaching wasn't new to me, but to receive the PSD subject matter along side the vast experience of your course instruction was an eye opener. It came fast and hard and putting it all into practise made it all worth while and interesting throughout - A course I would without doubt, do again. Can't forget what you have taught me and can't wait to put it into practise.Griff Ex HM Forces interview & deployed IRAQ.  (PSD Operator Course)

I attended the PSD Training course with anticipation wondering if I would be taught anything. Well all I can say is that the course was excellent, I learnt so much and was taught very well by AB & SR.  It was worth every penny and I haven't forgotten a thing - it was taught THAT WELL! I recommend PSD Training for any potential operative who wants to work in hostile environments I am waiting to be deployed to Iraq with (name of company withheld) at this time. - Mick C former British Army interview & deployed IRAQ. (PSD Operator Course)

Just a note to say thank you for the training I received over the last two weeks. The course was professionally run within a great training environment. I had no idea there could be so much to learn about PSD work and tactics. The course is a must for anybody going into a high risk environment. - Guy A former British Army interviewed, deployed with UK Foreign Office. (PSD Operator Course
